Jovenel Moïse is determined to find a peaceful and inclusive solution to the crisis

The President of the Republic, His Excellency Jovenel Moïse, is stepping up his actions to find a concerted and lasting solution to the current crisis in the country. These actions are aimed in particular at relieving the suffering of the Haitian people who face the worst difficulties for several months.

To this end, the Head of State has initiated a series of meetings with vital sectors of national life around the socio-political crisis and initiatives to help a peaceful resolution of the situation, at a time when the Haitian people expects from its political and economic elites concrete actions and signals of hope that announce the effective recovery of the country.

During the numerous discussions already held, the actors consulted put a particular emphasis on the need for a political agreement in order to constitute a national unity government in charge of leading the many reforms needed to strengthen state institutions and to face the current challenges.

Faithful to its desire to offer better living conditions to the Haitian people, President Jovenel Moïse expresses his determination to continue this inclusive dialogue to restore peace and harmony among all the girls and sons of the country, in order to create a more just and inclusive society.
